Based on the classic American novel, this musical follow Jo Marsh as she struggles to and ultimately makes her place in a society where women are expected to grow into well-behaved wives, not opinionated writers.  The design anchors on Jo’s writing her own story and manuscript in her attic, as the characters come to life in her space of creation and joyous wonder.
