Keaton and Deanna, an abusive drug dealer and his addicted wife have arrived in an island “paradise” prepared to start again.  However, old habits die hard.  As Keaton and Diana fall back into old ways, Keaton meets a herd of selkies who are visiting the island to party.  Keaton steals of of their coats, there by kidnapping a selkie, and from there things get complicated.  The design juxtaposes the ideal of paradise with the gritty reality of island hotel rooms and the danger and magic of confronting mythical creatures.
